Content Policy and Acceptable Use
Review what content is allowed on GKIQ, what is prohibited, and how moderation or removal may occur.
This Content Policy explains what kinds of material fit the platform and what types of uploads, submissions, or behavior may be removed or restricted. It works together with our Terms of Service and copyright process.
Content we expect
- Educational material, study resources, notes, books, papers, guides, and reference content that fit the platform's academic mission.
- Metadata and descriptions that are accurate enough to help users understand what a resource is and who it is for.
- Content submitted or managed by parties who have a legal basis to share it.
Prohibited content and behavior
- Copyright-infringing or clearly unauthorized content.
- Spam, deceptive material, malicious files, or abusive linking behavior.
- Illegal content, exploitative material, harassment, or content that creates safety risk.
- Misleading metadata intended to manipulate search, ads, or user trust.
Uploader and contributor responsibilities
- Contributors should only submit or manage content they have rights or permission to handle.
- They are responsible for the accuracy of the information they provide about the material.
- They must not use the platform to evade legal restrictions or content ownership requirements.
Moderation and removal rights
We may review, unpublish, restrict, or remove content that appears to violate these standards or create trust, copyright, or policy risk.
Moderation decisions may consider metadata quality, rights status, repeated abuse, or harmful user impact.
